Building construction date from Real Estate Record & Builders' Guide, v 24 no. 609, November 15, 1879, p. 930. Raised to three stories, possibly in 1898.1
Kreinbrink's carriage works were succeeded by Syska Brothers garage. In the 1950s the building was used for a mattress factory. In 1954, the Treo Mattress Factory suffered a 3-alarm fire that gutted the building.
