Frame "Church" on this site in 1898-1899 [Hyde]. 1898 building has same footprint as 1907.
1894 - Frame church built. "208 - Ralph st, s s, 410 w Central av, one 2-sty frame church, &c, 40x70, tin roof; cost, abt $10,000; (German Reformed Church of Jesus; ar't, E.I Lessing." 1
1897 - brick extension and roof raised. "929 - Ralph sl, s s, 410 w Central av, 1-sty brk extension 35x27 1/2, also a peak roof in place of a flat roof; cost, $6,000; German Reformed Church of Jesus, 15 Central pl; ar't, F J Lessing, 140 St Nicholas av." 2
